Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive, highly organised, and detail-oriented Administrator to provide essential support across our business. This is a varied administrative role covering a wide range of responsibilities including diary management, reporting, document preparation, event coordination, and record keeping. The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy administrative position, excellent Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to managers and teams across the business.
- Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel where required.
- Draft and format documents, letters, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain and update filing systems (electronic and paper-based).
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally.
- Support recruitment administration, including reference checks and onboarding paperwork.
- Assist with induction processes for new starters and maintain leavers’ records.
- Prepare and maintain sickness, absence, and timekeeping reports.
- Support the preparation and presentation of monthly business data reports.
- Take accurate notes at meetings (e.g., management, task force, or employee relations).
- Assist with the maintenance of training records and annual appraisal documentation.
- Update company documents, including employee handbooks and job descriptions.
- Organise workwear distribution and equipment where required.
- Represent the company at schools, colleges, careers fairs, and community events.
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to projects and initiatives as directed by managers.
Requirements
· Proven experience in a fast-paced administrative role.
· Strong IT literacy, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to converse at all
levels across the business
· Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
· Willingness to occasionally travel to support events and other UK sites (expenses
covered).
Desirable
Experience with business or HR-related systems (e.g., Sage HR or similar software).

Working Hours
- Part-time, Monday to Friday – 33.5 hours per week
- Monday 9.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
- Tuesday to Friday 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
- Full flexibility always required
- This is a fully office-based role (not hybrid or remote).

· £13.50 per hour (meal breaks paid)
