Rap Therapy is a dynamic and creative organisation using the power of rap, music, and workshops to inspire and engage young people. Our mission is simple: “Strengthening young people’s mental health through rap.”
We work with schools, youth establishments, councils and community groups to deliver tailored workshops that spark creativity, confidence, and connection.
We’re looking for a Schools & Operations Coordinator to help us expand our reach, keep our operations running smoothly, and make sure every workshop is a success from booking to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with schools and youth establishments to introduce Rap Therapy and get our workshops into more educational settings.
- Manage workshop bookings – schedule events, coordinate a shared calendar, and ensure smooth delivery.
- Allocate work to our team of presenters and facilitators based on availability and skill set.
- Learn and use our new online booking system to manage all workshop logistics.
- Communicate with schools to understand their needs and tailor workshops accordingly.
- Conduct data research to identify new schools, youth groups, and funding opportunities.
- Prepare workshop boxes with all required resources and deliver them to presenters.
- Support the team on the ground where needed, ensuring workshops run without a hitch.
- Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator, able to build relationships with schools and youth organisations.
- Experience managing calendars, bookings, or schedules.
- Competent with digital systems and quick to learn new platforms.
- Able to work independently and take initiative.
Desirable
- Previous experience in education, youth work, or creative industries.
- Familiarity with booking/CRM systems.
- A driving licence with a car to deliver workshop boxes.
