X2 Engagement Officer Activate Blaenau Gwent (Community)

Salary: £28,624 FTE / £14.48 per hour (Scale 5)

Hours: 30 per week

Contract: Fixed-term (August 2025 March 2026)

Location: Community-based across Blaenau Gwent

What You'll Be Doing

• Inspiring and engaging adults who feel isolated or inactive

• Offering personalised 1:1 and small group support to boost confidence

• Supporting referrals to local services like NERS and Wellbeing Coaches

• Helping participants set and track goals using digital tools

• Representing the programme at events and partner meetings

Who We're Looking For

• Someone with experience in support work, health improvement or community engagement

• Knowledgeable about local services and challenges in Blaenau Gwent

• Friendly, flexible and great at motivating others

• Digitally confident and happy using simple data tools
