X2 Engagement Officer Activate Blaenau Gwent (Community)
Salary: £28,624 FTE / £14.48 per hour (Scale 5)
Hours: 30 per week
Contract: Fixed-term (August 2025 March 2026)
Location: Community-based across Blaenau Gwent
What You'll Be Doing
Inspiring and engaging adults who feel isolated or inactive
Offering personalised 1:1 and small group support to boost confidence
Supporting referrals to local services like NERS and Wellbeing Coaches
Helping participants set and track goals using digital tools
Representing the programme at events and partner meetings
Who We're Looking For
Someone with experience in support work, health improvement or community engagement
Knowledgeable about local services and challenges in Blaenau Gwent
Friendly, flexible and great at motivating others
Digitally confident and happy using simple data tools
