The Role
To provide support and advice around accommodation, basic life skills, welfare benefits, health and personal issues allowing service users to work towards independent living.
Based in Salisbury working 22.5 hours per week on a flexible rota and to include regular sleep in shift, unsociable hours, alternate weekends, bank holiday's to meet the needs of the service.
- Experience of working with vulnerable young people.
- Experience of working unsupervised and on your own initiative
- Ability to form and maintain professional working relationships with a range of individuals.
- Experience of working as part of a team.
- Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills including ability to write reports.
- Experience of forming and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
- Competent IT skills with the ability to record information accurately, objectively and within prescribed timescale.
- To be able to work on a flexible rota and to include evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep ins.
- Be flexible and able to move with houses if necessary to meet the needs of the service.
- To hold or be committed to personal development through training level 3 or above accreditation.
- Hold a full driving licence with access to a road worthy vehicle and business insurance.
