We are looking to recruit a yard operative at our busy Horsham branch.
The successful candidate will need to have good numeracy and literacy skills, be a good team player, have a strong work ethic, positive can do attitude and be able to communicate well with others.
Duties will include loading/unloading vehicles. Picking lintels from stock and packing into plot lots. Checking off deliveries received in. Keeping yard clean and tidy and helping team members when necessary. This is a manual role in an outside yard.
A forklift license would be desirable and preferred but not essential as full training can be given.
A driving license with full access to a vehicle is required due to the location of the premises as no public transport or footpaths available for use.
Hours are usually Monday to Friday 8am until 5pm however this may vary depending on daily workload or company requirements , which could mean early starts of 6.30am or later finishes if and when the need arises. Overtime will be paid.
Salary £26,300 for age 21 and over and £22,500 for aged 18-20
