Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and physically fit Yard Operative to join our busy scaffolding yard. This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting, so a good level of fitness is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading scaffolding equipment
- Organising and maintaining stock in the yard
- Cleaning and checking scaffolding components
- Preparing materials for scaffolders ahead of jobs
- General yard duties to keep the workspace clean and safe
- Adhering to all health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Good level of physical fitness due to lifting and manual handling
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Previous experience in a yard, construction, or scaffolding environment preferred
- Forklift licence or HGV licence is an advantage, but not essential
