Loch Duart Plc is an independent Scottish salmon farming company producing premium quality salmon with a strong focus on sustainability, animal welfare, and community values. We're looking for a dedicated Yard Operative to support daily operations at our Dingwall Processing Facility.
Job Summary
As a Yard Operator, you’ll play a key role in keeping the processing running smoothly and efficiently. From unloading deliveries to maintaining yard cleanliness, and operating forklifts safely, you’ll support the team in ensuring that a high-quality product is consistently delivered.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Receipt of all deliveries
- Maintain / clean yard areas
- Despatch of any product during shift
- Conduct daily forklift checks and report any issues to the engineering team.
- Manage and pull ice for production bins as required.
- Supply goods for production
- Tanker decanting
- Offal bins cleaning
- Comply with all Health & Safety regulations at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
- Essential: Valid forklift licence and relevant experience.
- Previous yard/warehouse experience
- Strong attention to detail and awareness of safe working practices.
- Positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to support other areas of the operation when required.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday (some flexibility may be required)
- Night shift 18.00 start
