Summary
We are looking for a committed Yard Operative to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you’ll help keep our yard running smoothly by ensuring materials are well-organised and accessible for customers.
Hours: Monday to Friday 07.30am - 17:00pm, and alternating Saturdays 08:00am - 12:00pm.
Pay: This role is paid at the applicable National Minimum Wage rate
Responsibilities
- Assist in the organisation and maintenance of the yard area.
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Assist customers to select and load their materials
- Support delivery operations by preparing orders for dispatch.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment (preferred)
- FLT Licence (desirable)
- Health & Safety awareness and manual handling skills
