About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Quality Specialist to join our growing Porsche Service Centre.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our busy Workshop to increase efficiency daily whilst ensuring quality remains compliant.
This position requires strong automotive technical background analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The Service Quality Specialist will be responsible for driving Workshop efficiency, conducting audits, job card preparation and collaborating with various departments to enhance processes.
Duties
- Preparing for incoming jobs booked into Workshop including pre-ordering parts, preparing special tools and contacting customer's for any further information.
- Analyse data from quality reports and provide insights for process improvements.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding quality issues and solutions.
- Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and protocols.
- Provide training on quality standards and best practices.
- Utilise phone etiquette when liaising with clients or suppliers regarding quality concerns.
- Support upselling initiatives by ensuring product quality aligns with customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions taken.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a technical quality assurance or quality control role is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
- A background with in automotive Warranty or Workshop roles are essential.
- Ability to analyse data effectively to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and methodologies is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

When applying for this role please consider that we require candidates to have Service Advisor or Workshop Control experience within the automotive industry with an extensive technical knowledge of motor vehicles as a minimum requirement for this role.
