About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Quality Specialist to join our growing Porsche Service Centre.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our busy Workshop to increase efficiency daily whilst ensuring quality remains compliant.

This position requires strong automotive technical background analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The Service Quality Specialist will be responsible for driving Workshop efficiency, conducting audits, job card preparation and collaborating with various departments to enhance processes.


Duties

  • Preparing for incoming jobs booked into Workshop including pre-ordering parts, preparing special tools and contacting customer's for any further information.
  • Analyse data from quality reports and provide insights for process improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding quality issues and solutions.
  • Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Provide training on quality standards and best practices.
  • Utilise phone etiquette when liaising with clients or suppliers regarding quality concerns.
  • Support upselling initiatives by ensuring product quality aligns with customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions taken.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a technical quality assurance or quality control role is preferred.
  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
  • A background with in automotive Warranty or Workshop roles are essential.
  • Ability to analyse data effectively to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and methodologies is advantageous.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
