Job Overview:
A workshop administrator is required to assist with the running of a busy, family run automotive garage. You will be an excellent communicator with high customer service standards and exceptional organizational skills.
Role and Responsibilities:
- To aid the organisation and running of a busy vehicle repair, servicing and MOT centre.
- Manage the diary so the right amount of work is booked in each day.
- Book in customers vehicles, provide estimates using autodata to allocate times, keep customers up to date on the progress of their vehicle (by phone and email), create invoices from completed job cards and take payment.
- Book out courtesy vehicles when required, manage the required paperwork and check the vehicle upon return.
- Source the required parts for each job ensuring high quality at the most competitive rate. Ensure unused parts are returned for credit and check invoices have been updated.
- Ensure our Garage Systems are kept up to date with customer details
- Keep social media up to date with recently completed jobs to advertise and promote our services. Liaise with our website providers to ensure all information is current and up to date.
- Ensure the accountancy firm have copies of all invoices and any other information they require.
Skills
- Proficient in administrative tasks
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent data entry abilities
- Familiarity with QuickBooks for financial tasks
- Knowledge of phone etiquette for professional communication
-Ability to work with a Garage CRM system
Garage experience desirable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £25,200.00-£30,000.00 per year
