The GaffneyCline Energy Advisory team encompass all upstream subsurface technical disciplines to help support Baker Hughes' operations maximise reservoir value.
Partner with the best
This role sits within the GaffneyCline energy advisory organization, located within the Europe, North Sea and Caspian region. This role is expected to bring technical differentiation with expertise operational planning, petrophysical log QC and analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
As a Well Construction Advisor - Subsurface, you will be responsible for:
- Acting as the subsurface focal point for UK well construction operations for external and internal stakeholders
- Collaborating with the Well Construction team in advising customers on Baker Hughes' technology to help improve subsurface understanding based on customer requirements
- Engaging with other groups within the Baker Hughes organization to ensure appropriate subsurface professional support is available, where required
- Identifying opportunities where other GaffneyCline energy advisory disciplines may be impactful to the operators' business
- Supporting business development including identifying upsell opportunities and proposal preparation
- Participating in industry events and presentation to expand the GaffneyCline energy advisory brand
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelors degree in Geology, Engineering or related discipline with significant Subsurface experience
- Be able to communication at all levels within the organisation and effectively influence others with and without authority
- Have the ability to work across disciplines and co-ordinate across several projects
- Be able to work both independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams
- Have excellent written and verbal undefined skills and be fluent in English
- Be highly motivated with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
