Overview
We are looking for someone to work in our cafe Saturday and Sunday 10-3pm. The ideal candidate will have experience serving customers, using a coffee machine, making cofee and after training will take on more supervisory responsibilities. Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and presentation, ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including dining spaces and kitchen equipment.
- Support customers by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing information about menu items.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment and assist where needed.
Requirements
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential; prior experience in a café or similar setting is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and order processing.
- Ability to assist in food preparation while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
