Duties
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
- Handle materials with care, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Engage in picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer requirements.
- Build pallets and prepare products for dispatch, ensuring they are secure for transport.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist in maintaining an organised warehouse environment.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to operate forklifts; certification is a plus but can be provided if necessary.
- Strong physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- A proactive attitude towards teamwork and problem-solving within the warehouse setting.
