Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing materials handling, stock control, and maintaining a high standard of quality control, including housekeeping duties which will include cleaning of equipment and work areas This role will require a good level of physical ability as it will entail a large amount of manual handling work.
The hours of work will be 6am till 10 am (once proficient hours could adjust start and end time ) with holiday cover required which would include extra hours .
Duties
- Operate forklifts and other machinery for loading and unloading goods safely.
- Manage materials handling, ensuring that stock is organised and easily accessible.
- Perform picking and packing tasks with attention to detail to fulfil orders accurately.
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to maintain high standards.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving of products throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet operational targets.
Qualifications
- Previous experience is not essential as training in all aspects will be provided .

- Proficient in using forklifts; certification is an advantage but not essential as training will be given.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.

Pay: £12.57-£13.71 per hour
