Arnold Laver, part of National Timber Group, are seeking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor to join the team based at their Bristol branch.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, flexible and a reliable team player with good literacy and numeracy skills.
Duties may include:
- Ensuring our collection customers receive the best experience when they visit the branch
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping at all times
- Assist colleagues to accurately prepare product for outgoing customer deliveries
- Loading and unloading supplier vehicles using combi-lift machinery
- Stock handling and control
- Ensure all staff are aware and adhere to all company procedures/systems (Training will be provided)
- Required to attend work meetings on a regular basis.
- Ensure maintenance of sideloader and fork lift truck vehicles are carried out and all vehicles checks are logged
- Efficient planning of staffing levels to ensure that picking/selection and loading of goods is handled in a timely and effective manner
