Position: WAREHOUSE / STORES
We are seeking an experienced individual that is looking for a new challenge to join a prestigious team based in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.
You will be responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of running the warehouse facility.
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage the general housekeeping of the warehouse, recreational facilities and yard area
- Take control of projects when required and ensures the accuracy of record keeping
- Banksperson duties to assist drivers when required
- Provide assistance loading and unloading with and without the use of equipment; furniture, household, office and commercial effects into and out of the warehouse following the correct procedures
- Interacting and communicating effectively with our Customers when required and Colleagues in the movement of goods
- Follow H&S Guidelines, assessing any risks and minimising danger to self and others
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in H&S and manual handling – Essential
- Full UK drivers’ licence (no more than 6 points) – Essential
- Valid FLT Licence – Essential
- Excellent organisational and record keeping skills – Essential
- Valid Reach Truck Licence - Highly desirable
- Previous experience within same industry and role - Highly desirable
- Fire Warden trained - Desirable
- First aid trained - Desirable
- HGV Licence & Valid CPC - Desirable
Remuneration & Benefits Package:
- Competitive Salary including location allowance depending on experience (per annum)
- Overtime available and paid at enhanced rates
- Days: Normal days of work: Monday to Friday. (Occasional Saturdays)
- Hours: 50 hours per week (weekdays). Times can vary depending on the job
- Based at the Potters Bar depot
