Our client seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker/PPT operator to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse by handling various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and materials management. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Order Picking Products ready for despatch
- Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Utilise an HHT Scanner .
- Execute heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Operate PPT and to move products within the warehouse.
- Assist in building pallets and preparing shipments for dispatch.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of goods.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining an organised warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is essential.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
- Experienced in using hand scanners
- Valid PPT licence is essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
