Bluestones is working with a leading distribution company in the Newry area and due to continued growth they have a requirement for an immediate start warehouse Operative for there busy distribution site
Hours Nightshift
Sunday to Thursday 9:00pm to 5am
Salary £13.27phr
Duties
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch.
- Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials.
- Handling materials with care to ensure quality control throughout the process.
- Managing stock levels and ensuring proper storage of goods within the warehouse.
- Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading deliveries.
- Maintaining an organised and clean work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Performing regular inventory checks and reporting discrepancies as needed.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Skills
- Proficient in picking packing procedures with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of materials handling techniques and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory.
- Knowledge of shipping receiving processes and documentation requirements.
- Ability to perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products.
- Capable of heavy lifting as required, with good physical stamina for long shifts.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
