Job Description
Job Title : Warehouse Operative – PM Shift
Working Hours : Sunday - Thursday working 8 hours per day between 2.30 p.m. and 11.00 pm - 40 Hours per Week - with Fridays and Saturdays off.
Pay : £12.85 per hour plus shift premium of £1.00 per hour
Reports to : Shift Manager
Job Purpose: To be part of an established team working on a shift that operates between the hours of 2.30 p.m. and 23.00 p.m. to pick and pack orders accurately in line with business demands and delivery schedules.
Key Performance Indicators
- Pick and pack orders in line with productivity targets of 99.7%
- Safely load goods for dispatch as per instructions, ensuring product standards are maintained.
- Update records of stock to maintain a correct inventory
- Ensure compliance to H & S regulations
- Maintain a clean and tidy workplace
Internal and External Customers
- Respond promptly to queries raised by the Team Leader or Shift Manager
- Work as part of a team to ensure orders and outputs are maintained
Accuracy & Quality
- Pick and pack orders to a target of 99.7% accuracy
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Picking to targets with high level of accuracy
- Previous MHE experience
- Previous experience of working in a fast paced warehouse is preferred but not essential
- Punctual and reliable, maintaining an excellent attendance record.
- Contribute and participate to the annual PDR process
- React and respond in a flexible and positive way to reasonable requests
