Alliance Disposables is a leading distributor of non-food products to the hotel, leisure and catering sectors throughout the country.
We are expanding our operation and have an opportunity for an exceptionally motivated individual to carry out deliveries in the East Anglia region from our Norwich branch.
Main Function of role:
Reporting to Warehouse Supervisor, working alongside a team of warehouse operatives to ensure that the goods inwards, storage and goods outwards functions are efficiently and effectively processed.
Main role responsibilities (late shift)
Assist with processing incoming goods, storage and that the dispatch of goods are processed accurately, efficiently and that all relevant paperwork is completed in line with company procedures.
Assist with accurate picking and loading of stock onto vehicles.
Assist with effective space and storage control, including stock transfer and non-conforming products.
Ensure any damaged goods, picking errors or non conforming products are reported to Warehouse Supervisor/Operations Manager.
Ensure vehicle loading practices completed within company guidelines.
When required, deliver a range of products to our regional customer base and ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and courteous manner.
Key Skills
Good communication skills.
Current full drivers’ licence.
Be physically fit and able to lift and carry weights of up to 25kg.
Fork and reach truck licence (desirable).
Flexible approach to working.
Hours of work
40 hour per week.
Mon-Weds 14.00 - 22.30pm
Thurs-Fri 13.00 - 21.30pm
Salary
Competitive salary with daily shift premium for late shift working.
Opportunity to earn annual bonus via company profit share.
