We are looking for a reliable and conscientious Warehouse Operative / Driver to service our growing customer base.
Position: Warehouse Operative / Driver
Location: Reading
Salary: £12.25 per hour / £25,500 per year
Key responsibilities
- Unloading, checking and putting away goods in
- Packing, picking and despatching orders for customers
- Stock takes
- Keeping warehouse tidy and organised
- Updating goods in and goods out onto stock management system
- Loading and unloading vans for onward delivery
- Delivering orders to customers on assigned routes
- Setting up equipment at customers' premises (training will be provided)
- Obtaining delivery confirmations from each customer
- Maintaining van in good condition
Your skills
- Punctual
- Presentable and polite
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to work hard
- Computer literate
- Full clean driving licence
- Forklift driving experience is useful but not essential

Hours of work
Working hours are Monday to Friday between 6.00am-2.30pm and 10.00am-6.30pm, depending on shifts. Overtime may be needed during busy periods or when covering holiday.
