Job Overview
We Do Workwear are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and a strong understanding of orders handling. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the warehouse, from receiving to customising to shipping.
Who are We Do Workwear?
We are an 11 year established, family-run business that supplies customised clothing and workwear to businesses & organisations across the UK. We currently have a 9 strong team over our sales office and production floor.
We have 2x DTF (Direct to Film) printers, Numerous heat application presses, and 10x Melco embroidery machines.
Our fast-growing team is on the lookout for an enthusiastic, warehouse operative that can help with smooth operations on our production floor.
Duties
- Checking goods in against supplier delivery notes with accuracy and noting any missing or incorrect items
- Flagging any issues with our suppliers and arranging replacements
- Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing our stock levels.
- Perform picking and packing of customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Finishing and folding garments and orders before dispatching
- Operate pump truck and other trolleys safely to load and unload goods.
- Occasionally, packing and wrapping pallets to detailed specifications
- Working out the size and weights of pallets and creating paperwork
- Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels, ensuring products are easily accessible.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.

Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable, with a solid understanding of materials handling procedures.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as Clarity Pro is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate order fulfilment.
