Your role is Warehouse operative and forklift driver.
Your will cover for drivers when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries to our regular B2B customers across the region.
- Represent the business with a smart, professional appearance and customer-first attitude.
- Load and unload stock from the van, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
- Assist in the warehouse when not driving (e.g. picking and packing orders).
- Perform vehicle checks and keep the delivery van clean and roadworthy.
- Liaise with the warehouse and customer service teams to ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Comply with road safety regulations and legal driving standards at all times.
Person Specification
Essential
- Valid forklift license
- Valid driving license
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in multi-drop delivery driving (van-based).
- Full UK driving licence with a clean record.
- Smart appearance with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy goods safely and efficiently.
- Comfortable using basic digital tools for delivery confirmation (e.g. handheld devices or smartphones).
- Able to work flexibly across assigned working days.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check due to deliveries to sensitive sites such as care homes and schools.
Desirable.
- Good local knowledge of routes in the West Midlands and surrounding areas.
- Previous experience in warehousing or logistics.
