Warehouse/Assembly Operative
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse/Assembly Operative to join our dynamic team. This hands-on role combines warehouse operations with assembly work, offering excellent opportunities to learn about our products and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations:
- Load and unload steel and other materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment
- Book in deliveries and manage inventory
- Prepare kit of parts for assembly operations & Fabrication
- Liaise with suppliers regarding incorrect or damaged parts
Assembly Operations:
- Work in the assembly bay to gain comprehensive product knowledge
- Follow both verbal and written instructions accurately
Essential Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and good memory
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- IT literate with basic computer skills
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
