Position Summary:
The Underwriting Operations Associate provides technical rating and policy issuance support for routine to moderately complex transactions in underwriting. They work closely with agents, process mid-term premium and non-premium bearing endorsements, and ensure compliance with underwriting policies and procedures.

What will your job entail?
Main duties:
- Enter and maintain integrity of all data within our data capturing system.
- Responsible for entering into NDAs with brokers
- Responsible for creating, amending and sending engagement agreements to clients.
- Review all parties to the transactions (via documents received in submissions from brokers) to highlight prior RTR interactions with the entities and report this information to underwriters.
- Review policy documentation prior to circulation to brokers and clients to ensure compliance with binder and Lloyd’s requirements.
- Maintain and monitor the corporate file structure on the corporate server.
- Generate reports from the corporate systems for internal and external audiences.
- Ensure compliance with UK and international financial sanctions.
- Provide general assistance with administrative duties.
- Liaise with brokers on operational issues, including premium payments, tax queries and document management.
Personal attributes:
- Ideally a minimum of 6 months insurance experience.
- Fluent in English. Additional European language capabilities would be advantageous.
- Computer literate and able to demonstrate use of Word
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload in order to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic, hardworking and driven individual with a focus on providing the best possible service. Endeavours to exceed expectations.
- Flexible approach to work with a strong desire to learn and undertake additional responsibilities – all with a view to further career progression.
