Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of user experience and interface design principles, with a passion for creating engaging and intuitive digital products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring that user needs are met while aligning with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and gather requirements to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualise design concepts.
- Develop responsive web designs that enhance usability across various devices.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to implement designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
- Utilise design patterns and best practices in interaction design to improve user experience.
- Perform usability testing and gather feedback for iterative design improvements.
- Engage in data visualisation to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Maintain an understanding of industry trends in digital design, UX, and UI methodologies.
- Work with tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite to create compelling designs.
Skills
- Proficiency in front-end development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, and Bootstrap.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and product development processes.
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing techniques.
- Familiarity with data analysis skills and tools such as Google Analytics or SQL for informed design decisions.
- Understanding of information architecture principles and interaction design best practices.
- Experience with wireframing tools like Axure, Balsamiq, or Zeplin for effective communication of ideas.
- Knowledge of content management systems including WordPress and Drupal is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS is a plus.
