Robson Scott Associates Ltd trades as Business Rescue Expert and is an independent insolvency practice based in the North East dealing with clients across England, Scotland and Wales. We operate a 4 and a half day work week for all staff members closing our offices at 1pm on a Friday to improve work life balance, 35 hours per week.
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and managing various tasks efficiently. This position requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out onboarding checks against new clients in line with our Anti-Money Laundering and Ethical standards.
- Preparing insolvency documentation, including forms, reports, and correspondence.
- Conduct research and gather information to support insolvency cases.
- Maintain accurate records of case-related activities and documents.
- Liaise with clients, creditors, and other stakeholders to gather information and resolve queries.
- Assist with the organisation and coordination of creditor meetings.
- Provide administrative support to Insolvency Practitioners and Managers as required
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the insolvency department.
- Liaising with valuation agents to deal with case specific assets.
- Chasing outstanding debtors and ensuring clients make payment in line with agreed terms.
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
- Grade 6 as a minimum in Maths and English.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with colleagues and clients.
- Additional training will be provided by an external provider and the successful candidate will be expected to pass the introductory level of training within 6 months. Following this salary will be reviewed based on performance and pass mark.
