We are looking for Production Operatives to assist with the production of concrete railway sleepers. This is a temporary role to last until December 2025.
The role involves working on 4 long production lines to continuously cast and demould concrete railway sleepers, whilst also cleaning after the process on a regular basis. Both automated and semi-automated machinery is used in this process, but it does require manual handling and is physically demanding work.
No experience is needed as training will be given.
The role will work Monday - Thursday 6am - 6pm
The role is also eligible for a production bonus which is paid for each hour worked and averages at £1.60 per hour in addition to a safety bonus of £0.15 for every hour worked safely and with no incidents
As part of our recruitment process all new starters are required to undertake a drugs and alcohol test, as well as random testing during employment
