Production Operative – Clitheroe
- £12.87 an hour, increasing to £14.80 an hour after 12 weeks
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm rotating shifts
Role Summary
To assemble, press and wash components to manufacture valves, cans, and components using automated production equipment within the CMF and Valve Assembly department, maintaining a safe working environment and GMP standards.
The role of Production Operative:
- Adhere to site regulations working safely and complying with all company safe working practices and procedures
- Complete all paperwork in real time, accurately and legibly and in line with the company GMP procedures and policy
- Carry out safety checks and maintain a high standard of safety and housekeeping
- Report all quality issues to the Production Leader/Group Leader immediately
- Ensure a thorough and effective daily handover to include current setup and running status, using the Tier 1 process
- Display behaviors linked to our Client’s PRECISE values
- Continuous monitoring of machines during production
- Working to specific and detailed written instructions
- Adhere to mandatory site policies
The ideal Production Operative:
- Some manufacturing and press operating experience would be beneficial
- VA Operator experience in automation/assembly would be advantageous, but not essential
