Abacus Creative Resources, a well-established, family-run SME based near Lancaster, are looking for a proactive and growth-driven B2B Telemarketer. The company operates within the creative education sector, supplying high-quality creative materials and capital equipment to educational organisations across the UK. Known for our platinum customer service and dedication to supporting creativity in learning, the company offers a collaborative and supportive working environment, within a small team. We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated Lead Generator to help us increase our sales revenue and connect with many more educational establishments, that can benefit from our innovative products, solutions and service. You will work within a well-structured and proven sales process, honed after many years of experience, testing and making mistakes. The directors have a clear vision of where the company needs to be in 12 months, with clear plans and building blocks to accelerate our progress.
As a ‘Lead Generator’, your key responsibilities will be to
· Research and identify potential leads within the education sector, focusing on schools, universities, and training institutions.
· Contact prospective clients via phone and email to introduce our range of creative materials.
· Qualify leads and create interest in our products and services.
· Understand customer needs and effectively communicate the value of our USP's.
· Track and report on lead generation performance and conversion rates.
· Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and progress in Hubspot CRM software.
· Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to improve lead generation strategies.
· Monitor trends in the education sector to identify new opportunities for growth.
Candidate Profile.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in lead generation and telemarketing, with a proven track record of generating leads.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Familiarity with the HubSpot CRM system, is advantageous.
· Knowledge of the educational sector and its needs is advantageous.
· Highly motivated with a positive attitude and a drive for success.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Comfortable initiating contact with new prospects and building rapport.
· Organised, results-oriented, and commercially aware.
· Motivated, proactive, and resilient – in our market, resilience is very necessary.
