Foodpro is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Systems Co-Ordinator to join our Technical team.
This vital role supports the Head of Technical in ensuring site compliance with all food safety, quality, and legal standards. You will be responsible for maintaining technical systems, supporting internal and external audits, managing compliance documentation, and handling customer complaints efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation and coordination of customer, third-party, and regulatory audits.
- Maintain and update technical systems including document control, specifications, and compliance records.
- Collate and analyse data for technical KPI reporting (complaints, non-conformances, audit findings, etc.).
- Assist with investigating and responding to customer complaints and non-conformances.
- Ensure accurate records are kept to demonstrate due diligence across quality, hygiene, and food safety.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the site’s quality management system.
- Provide administrative support to the Technical team, including policy updates and internal audit scheduling.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a technical or quality-based role within food manufacturing (ideally chilled or frozen products).
- Strong understanding of food safety, BRCGS, and retailer standards.
- Experience preparing and supporting for BRCGS and major retailer audits.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and technical systems (e.g. spec systems, QMS platforms).
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines.
Desirable:
- Food safety or HACCP qualification (Level 2 or above).
