Reports to: Technical Services Manager
Location: Field / Remote
Working hours: 40 hours per week, flexible between 08:00am to 18:00pm - Monday to Friday.
Yu Smart are looking for a Technical Lead to join our innovative business.
As a Technical Lead you will utilise relevant technical experience to support successful and compliant metering works; and developing solutions to overcome challenges ensuring successful installation performance and ensuring that the knowledge and understanding of field staff is in full adherence to business and industry requirements and expectations.

What We Need From Yü

- Ensure accuracy of work is to the required standard.
- Quality of installs ensuring audit targets are met.
- Providing technical support in field and via technical support desk
- Provide in-centre training, assessments & trade test
- Help facilitate the delivery of a seamless customer experience for our client(s).
- Coach, mentor and support the field team, where required.
- Develop processes and procedures
- Out of hours support

Relevant Qualifications / Experience:
- Smart Metering (Dual Fuel) experience
- Industry Qualifications: CMA1 + MET1 (or equivalent)
- Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent)
- Three Phase
Desirable:
- REGT1 – Medium Pressure regulators
- MET4 (or greater) – Commercial gas metering
- Current Transformer (CT)
Additional Requirements:
- UK Driving Licence
- Pass a colour blindness test.
- Pass a DBS check.
