With a strong presence in the security industry for nearly a decade. As we grow, we are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to join our team.
Job Summary
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide expert assistance to customers, installers, and internal teams on CCTV, alarm systems, and other security products. You will diagnose technical issues, guide users through troubleshooting, and ensure optimal performance of our security solutions. Your role is critical in maintaining customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support via phone, email, and live chat for CCTV, alarm systems, and other security products.
- Assist customers and installers with troubleshooting, configuration, and system setup.
- Guide clients through software and firmware updates, network configurations, and integrations.
- Conduct remote diagnostics and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with the sales team to offer product recommendations and solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and solutions provided.
- Create and update technical support documents, FAQs, and training materials.
- Stay up to date with the latest security products and technologies.
- Provide in-person and remote training for customers on product installations and functionalities.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in technical support, preferably in the CCTV or security industry.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, alarm systems, networking, and remote access solutions.
- Familiarity with security brands such as Uniview, Hikvision, Texecom and Pyronix is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-first approach.
- Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Experience with remote support tools and diagnostic software.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
