We are looking for a Technical Coordinator to join the Technical team at Leeds University Union (LUU). This role will take a lead in supporting our Events by Students programme, working closely with the Events by Students programme lead. We have a multitude of venues at LUU, including 3 nightclubs, two theatres, several conferencing rooms and dance studios, as well as use of the Refectory – a 2100 capacity venue which has a great history in Leeds. Stylus is our 1000 capacity live music venue.About the role
You will play a key role in the many major events held on campus such as Raise And Give (RAG) Fashion Show and Leeds Ball. You will work closely with Backstage Society, LUUs technical theatre society. In your role you will join an organization keen on maximizing student experience, and as part of this, you will work closely with student societies to ensure they have the best experience possible at Leeds.
About you
We’re looking for team players with an enthusiastic approach to their duties, great communication skills, the ability to be innovative and creative, alongside a willingness to learn new skills. Applicants are required to have experience working in a live music environment and have an enthusiastic and organised approach to their work.
