What you'll bring to the team:

Location: Chessington World of Adventures Resort Leatherhead Road Chessington Surrey KT9 2NE

Here at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for a Technical Author to join our Technical Services team!

This is a vital role responsible for the creation, management, and continuous improvement of all maintenance-related documentation. Your work will support key operational areas by producing user-friendly training guides, visual aids, and manuals designed for varying levels of technical expertise.

You will be responsible for maintaining and updating our document management system, ensuring all materials are easy to access, properly version-controlled, and ready for audit. In addition, you will contribute to departmental briefings and ensure all staff are kept informed of updates and procedural changes. Integration of documentation with training programs will be a key part of your role, helping to ensure consistency in technical instruction across the team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical data into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy, clarity, and consistency
  • Collaborative mindset with proven experience working effectively across multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, safety personnel, external vendors, and manufacturers
