The Estates Team, where this role sits, is within the Property and Asset Management Service of Blackpool Council. This service is responsible for providing a comprehensive property management service. As a unitary authority and the UK’s premier seaside resort we have a unique, interesting and varied property portfolio. The Team also provides a property management service for the beautiful Borough of Fylde.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, engaging and motivated Technical Administrator to take a key role supporting the busy professional team by delivering quality administrative and customer service support.
A self-motivated, approachable and pro-active individual is sought, with strong administrative and ICT skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. The successful candidate will need to show a good level of accuracy and will carry out a variety of administrative, technical and customer service duties related to Property, Estates and Asset Management .
There is a need to be highly computer literate and experience of financial and/or property management systems will be a distinct advantage. Excellent literacy and numeracy skills are required while possessing the ability to adapt to a variety of work situations within a demanding office environment.
We seek someone who brings enthusiasm and dedication, with excellent communication skills affording them the ability to forge lasting relationships with clients and colleagues, so a collaborative, team-focused approach is essential. You should be technically proficient and resilient, able to handle challenging conversations with clients when necessary.
