We're looking for reliable and confident individuals to help run our busy arts centre. As a Duty Officer, you’ll be responsible for the safety, comfort and experience of staff, performers and visitors during events.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the building during events
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors
- Supervise and support front-of-house staff
- Handle emergency situations and evacuations
- Manage bar and merchandise operations
- Ensure licensing laws are followed
- Respond to customer complaints professionally
- Prepare key spaces for use the next day
- Keep the foyer clean and clear
What We’re Looking For
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Calm and confident under pressure
- Customer service focused
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Valid First Aid certificate (or willing to get one)
- Experience in a similar role is a bonus
