The Role

Youth Options has developed a reputation for delivering high quality Outdoor Learning provision in the Eastleigh and Southampton areas. The aim of our provision is to engage, develop and empower children and young people to develop their social and emotional capabilities and improve their engagement with learning through nature-based activities.

As the Team Leader for Outdoor Learning in the Eastleigh, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the Outdoor Learning delivering and team in Eastleigh at our Outdoor Learning Centre in Bishopstoke.

What you will bring?

Experience - Working with children and young people & experience of delivering a range of activities to children and young people.

Essential Skills and Competencies - Ability to positively engage with children and young people in a variety of settings. Ability to plan, prioritise and manage own workload. Ability to implement and review programmes of work with children and young people. Ability to motivate others Excellent communication skills.

Personal Qualities - Committed; Supportive; Inspiring; Impartial and non-judgemental; Team player; Flexible and adaptable
