Team Leader – Children’s Residential Support Worker
Location: Leigh, Greater Manchester
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £13.75 per hour + £50 per sleep-in shift

About the Role:
As a Team Leader, you will:
- Provide emotional and practical support to children in a therapeutic residential setting.
- Help establish daily routines and activities such as cooking, sports, music, and downtime.
- Lead and support a small team of staff, working alongside managers, education professionals, and therapeutic specialists.
- Promote safety, stability, and positive outcomes for children and young people in care.
Shift Pattern:
- Two days on, four days off on a fixed rolling rota.
- Includes sleep-ins paid at £50 per night.
- Average of 10–11 working days per month.

What We’re Looking For:
- Recent experience working in a children’s residential home.
- Some leadership experience or a desire to step up into a Team Leader role.
- A Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Workforce (or willingness to work towards it).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Energetic, resilient, and passionate about supporting vulnerable young people.
