Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
- Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, hospitality practices, and customer service skills.
- Coordinate daily activities in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Assist with food production, including menu planning and inventory management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management to implement new procedures and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality sector.
- Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
- Previous experience in kitchen environments, hotels, or as a barista is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
