We have an exciting vacancy for a passionate and creative Teaching Assistant. This role will involve working closely with teachers to plan and prepare lessons to give pupils the best learning opportunities. You will support students in intervention classes, assisting them with accessing teaching and learning and work alongside teachers to adapt activities.
The position is to work on a permanent basis, working 39 weeks per year (term time plus training days), 32.5 hours per week. The pro-rata, a, based on 32.5 hours, 39 weeks per year, will be Point 5 £19,360 – Point 7 £19,979 (FTE Point 5 £25,583 – FTE Point 7 £26,402).

The ideal candidate
- Will possess GCSE English & Maths Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent
- Have experience of supporting pupils with SEND of behaviour needs would be beneficial.
- Be an adaptable, enthusiastic, and creative person.
- Be able to provide stimulating and engaging experiences for our students, challenging them to achieve beyond their expectations and supporting them to become lifelong learners.
- Be able to build effective working relationships with students and staff.
- Be a team player, with a can-do attitude.
