Justteachers is working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Harrogate, seeking a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and confident HLTA to take on a full-time role supporting teaching and learning across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacher.
- Support teachers in the planning and preparation of lessons and learning activities.
- Provide targeted support to small groups and individual pupils, including those with additional needs.
- Assist in the assessment and tracking of pupil progress.
- Contribute to the creation of a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and leadership teams.
Requirements:
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification is essential.
- Proven experience working in a primary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead learning activities independently.
- A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s education.
- A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one through Justteachers.

Pay: £100.00-£130.00 per day
