Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and professional Taxi Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
Duties
- Drive passengers to their specified locations in a timely and safe manner.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance and information as needed.
- Maintain the vehicle by ensuring it is clean, well-fuelled, and in good working order.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Assist passengers with heavy lifting of luggage or other items as required.
- Keep accurate records of trips, including pick-up and drop-off locations.
- Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to management.
Experience
- Previous experience as a taxi driver or in commercial driving is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
- Familiarity with local roads, landmarks, and traffic patterns is an advantage.
- Experience in roles such as delivery driver or van driver will be considered beneficial.
- A valid driving licence with a minimum of 1 years driving is required.
- You will also require a taxi licence which can be obtained from Cornwall council which we can assist you in getting.
