We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service while ensuring the safe and timely transportation of passengers. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for navigating the city efficiently, maintaining your vehicle, and communicating effectively with passengers to enhance their travel experience.
Duties
- Safely drive passengers to their destinations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and well-organised vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Communicate clearly with passengers regarding routes, estimated arrival times, and any potential delays.
- Assist passengers with heavy lifting of luggage or other items as needed.
- Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and fuel consumption.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being courteous and accommodating to passenger needs.
- Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to management.
Experience
- Previous experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns is advantageous.
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations while driving.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with passengers and address their concerns.
- Experience as a van driver is a plus, particularly in navigating larger vehicles in urban environments.
