The Role:
A major UK consultancy is seeking a Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join their in-house recruitment team on a 6-month contract. This hybrid role supports a fast-growing division within the Water and Environment sector, with opportunities to lead proactive sourcing and contribute to high-impact hiring campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, and innovative sourcing methods.
- Conduct talent mapping and market research to identify new candidate pools.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and lead recruitment strategy.
- Deliver a smooth candidate experience from initial contact through to offer acceptance.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future roles.
- Share market insights and competitor analysis to influence hiring plans.
Essential Experience:
- Prior experience in recruiting within engineering or technical sectors.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and guide recruitment processes.
- Proven sourcing skills using multiple channels and tools (e.g. LinkedIn, ATS).
- Strong understanding of proactive recruitment techniques and talent engagement.
Desirable:
- Experience hiring within water, environment, or civil engineering fields.
- Knowledge of market trends in infrastructure or consultancy.
