Job Title: Supply Chain Data Steward
Location: RAF Coningsby

Salary: £34,232+ depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
Harmonisation of technical part reference data between engineering & supply chain systems to support TyTAN Orderbook and Inventory Forecasting and Planning
Parity of procurement related part reference data to Orderbook and Inventory Forecasting and Planning systems from multiple supply sources
Managing the relationship of part data between TyTAN Supply Chain Inventory Forecasting and Planning systems and customer Inventory Management systems for the TyTAN contracted range of parts
Managing the life cycle management of the TyTAN contracted range of parts, maintaining part data within business Supply Chain and customer Inventory Management systems, including part obsolescence and supersession
Supporting the Supply Chain Policy and Governance Group Lead, ensuring that business Supply Chain system data and customer Inventory Management systems comprises of approved parts only
Adhering to current Quality and Governance regulations and Export Control guidance to ensure the airworthiness of assets within the Inventory
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Knowledge and experience of Supply Chain working in support of military aircraft. Knowledge of the working practices of the RAF and UK MoD.
Awareness of Supply Chain Business IT Systems
Ability to process and manage large data sets
Highly competent in IT skills specifically Excel and Word
Desirable:
Competent in the use of MJDI

Supply Chain Data Team
Working within the Supply Chain Data Team as a Supply Chain Data Steward, you will be responsible for ensuring that all TyTAN Supply Chain part reference data is aligned to the UK MOD approved dataset and procurement provided data is kept up to date within planning and orderbook systems, complying with current governance polices and operating within the TyTAN Contract.
You will liaise directly with other Supply Chain and Engineering stakeholders across the Typhoon platform together with the Shared Service. You will also support the Spares and Repairs IF&P teams, Fleet Modelling, Business Management and DE&S by ensuring that business and military system part reference data is aligned to the MOD approved dataset and kept fit for purpose, enabling the Royal Air Force Typhoon Fleet and DE&S to meet their commitments.
