We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative yet organised individual to join our Supply Chain team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding organisation within a fast moving area of the business. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be involved in the everything to do with stock, availability, production scheduling and making sure we meet the overall business sales demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for in stock availability of finished goods and components to meet sales and packaging demand.
- Schedule the packing requirements for the packing hall
-Developing and implementing production schedules that align with demand forecasts and production capabilities.
-Managing inventory levels to minimize holding costs and avoid going out of stock.
-Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the production process, such as material shortages, equipment failures, or delays
- Place external Purchase Orders with suppliers for finished goods and components.
- Place internal Packaging Works Orders for our internal packing facility to produce.
- Working with suppliers to ensure all Purchase Orders are delivered on time and in full.
- Raise Sales Orders for the warehouse to pick and ship.
- Raise internal Transfer Orders from our warehouse to the packing hall.
- Support with documentation for shipping.
- Provide the business with reports on stock holding, availability, supplier compliance and more.
- Deputise in certain areas/tasks for the Supply Chain Manager in their absence.
- Working with wholesale customers to ensure orders and received, processed and shipped.
- Any other supply chain tasks as and when required by the business.
Experience Required:
- Relevant qualification
- Experience in Demand Planning or similar role in FMCG
- Commercial experience
- Excellent working knowledge of stock database systems
- Excellent communication skills, maintaining good working relationships with suppliers and customers
- Able to make decisions on the spot
- Proven problem-solving capabilities
- Pro-active and a self starter, with an ability to manage key stakeholders
