We are now looking for an exceptional Supervisor for our magical Imaginarium store, based on Blake Street in York city centre. This is an exciting shop full of quirky and entertaining gifts and art work for our customers to experiece and enjoy. We pride ourselves on giving excellent customer service and an engaging shopping experience, where our customers are taken through a journey of our store and products available. Every day is exciting, as we are often adding new collections of products, or expanding on our ranges.
Working within a small close knit team, it will allow you to become an essential part and support in the success of the store. Our training will provide you with the information of our products and our sytems and ways of operating. We'd like you to bring a great personality, enthusiasm and to be confident in communicating with customers and team members alike.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Supervisor or Team Leader wanting to take the next step in their leadership career. We're looking for a customer focused individual from a retail or hospitaility background, who possesses some leadership skills and is open to further development. The role will involve being part of the store leadership team with duty managerment resposibilities, including cashing up, opening and closing the store, trading the day and giving excellent customer service whilst driving the team
Job Description:
· Managing and overseeing shop operations, ensuring efficient functioning of the shop, managing the sales floor and providing maximum profitability.
· Supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in training the team members.
· Administering accounting functions, weekly sales trading reports, weekly H&S checks and cash reports.
· Controlling inventory to ensure sufficient stock, daily and weekly counts, rotated and changed by seasons and sales.
· Delivering exceptional customer service, setting criteria for team, establishing security and safety measures and compliance.
