The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer is looking for a Supervisor to join the team and help run the business. 'The Volley' is a busy city centre pub, focused purely in independent UK beers, ciders & spirts.
For the past ten years since first opening our doors, The Volley has grown into one of the largest independent beer centered pubs in the South West. We are proud to support UK independent breweries, and locally sourced produce.
The role is working within a busy environment, supporting the General Manager and Assistant Manager in the day to day running of the pub, but also helping with our social media presence, new events and driving business to The Volley.
What are we looking for?
- Great knowledge and understanding of the 'craft' beer scene.
- Genuine passion for providing customers with an excellent experience.
- Previous experience of working in a busy pub environment.
- Knowledge of the brewing process and cellar management would both be a plus.
- Complying with all aspects of Health and Safety and Hygiene regulations.
- Responsible for aiding the General Manager and Assistant Manager.
- An excellent team player with exceptional communication skills.
- Must have a positive attitude.
- Ability to solve problems as they may arise.
- Attention to detail.
- Leads by example.
- Professional work demeanor.
